What does "In Transit" mean in USPS Tracking?

On USPS Tracking, "In Transit" means that your package is on its way to its destination. This signifier just means that your package is currently on the move. It does not imply that you will be receiving it on that day, or the next day, or any specific time. It simply means that currently your package is on a truck, being moved from one location to another. 

Remember, the effects of COVID-19 have caused major slowdown with USPS. Tracking info is sometimes not updated at all. Sometimes it is updated incorrectly. Keep this in mind when checking your tracking info.
